Chief Financial Officer

This position will oversee the overall success of the financial and budgetary functions of the agency; Direct, plan, and supervise the activities of Financial Services, assists in the development and implementation of the agency business plan and strategic financial plan, ensures compliance with governmental accounting standards, and present the financial status of the agency to the leadership of the Department and the Board of Health.

Requirements are a bachelor's degree in business management, economics, accounting, finance, or a closely related field, and a minimum of five years of professional experience. Three years of experience must include budgets and fiscal oversight responsibility, policy and decision making experiences in the areas of budgeting, finance, or analysis of financial operations.


Health Insurance Assistance Coordinator

This position is responsible for the determination of eligibility for Ryan White Part B HIV Drug Assistance Program Services and coordination of prescription co-pay and insurance premium assistance activities for the program.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree and 5 years of experience in coordinating health insurance benefits including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security Disability benefits or private insurance, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.


Regional Administrative Director(s)

This positions will develop and recommend policies, rules and regulations which pertain to the administration of assigned programs consistent with federal and state laws; participate in program analysis, including the analysis of problems and needed services in the assigned county health departments.


Deputy Commissioner

Under the administrative direction of the Commissioner of Health, this position leads, plans, directs and coordinates the Protective Health Services programs of the Department which include: Consumer Health Service, Health Resources Development Service, Injury Prevention Service, Long Term Care Service, and Medical Facilities Service.

Requirements consist of a master's degree in public health, behavioral science, business or public administration and  eight (8) years of professional supervisory, managerial, consultative, or administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.


EMPI Data Steward

This position will support the Enterprise Master Patient Index (eMPI) by conducting data matching activities for multiple agencies.

Requirements consist of a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Information Systems or similar field with course work in statistics.
