Ball State University is seeking a Coordinator of Fitness and Wellness Programs to oversee all aspects of the REC Fit group exercise program, three fitness centers, and personal training program.


Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in in physical education, recreation/sport administration or related field from an accredited college or university. At least one year of direct management of student staff and fitness experience. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet University’s vehicle policies & procedures. Instructor Certification in CPR/AED/First-Aid or willing to obtain within first six months.



Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. At least two years of professional experience in college or university recreation programming. Fitness Center management experience, Personal Training Certification, multiple group fitness certifications, active in National Intramural Recreation Sports (NIRSA).
