This position will be located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. 

OSU-Center for Health Sciences has announced the opening a proposed campus in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  Overall, the Director of Operations’ primary role will be to ensure the effective execution of the proposed campus’ major strategies and projects.  Excellent ability to communicate well with administration, faculty, staff and students and the general public to exchange accurate information.  Will manage the accounting, billing, budgeting, budget status/financial report functions, and contractual negotiations.  The position will work closely with both the senior leadership of OSUCHS-CN and the Cherokee tribal leaders to bring the opening of the proposed campus to fruition in 2020.  Ability to analyze complex situations, develop practical cost-effective solutions and handle confidential information in a professional manner. The position requires extensive project management abilities.  The position also requires a strong eye for detail, while always keeping the big picture in the forefront.

Requirements

Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Operations or similar type of program
-Minimum five (5) years of working experience managing extremely large projects
-Excellent Project Management skills are critical 
-Strong attention to detail
-Strong self-starter
-Excellent at written and spoken communication
-Ability to train and invest in others
-Leadership skills
-Exceptional oversight and delegation abilities
-Knowledgeable of information technology and how to leverage it for the mission
-Strong ability to manage systems and processes already in place
Strong accounting,financial, management, computer systems, problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills. Excellent ability to communicate well with administration, faculty, staff and students and the general public to exchange accurate information. Ability to analyze complex situations, develop practical cost-effective solutions and handle confidential
information in a professional manner. 

Preferred:
-Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Operations, Health Care Administration, Finance or similar area of focus
-Strongly prefer knowledge and experience in the Cherokee Nation Health
System and/or OSU CHS System
