About This Role: 

 

comScore is seeking an experienced and energetic training professional to become a key member of the Sales Training and Enablement team. Reporting to the Sr. Sales Trainer, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated sales performance and a thorough understanding of sales skills and competencies, tools, and coaching techniques.  The Sales Trainer will conduct skills gap analyses, design, develop and implement courses to front-line Account Executives up to EVP/C-suite must be an engaging, live facilitator and coach. This individual will play a key role in establishing a comprehensive sales training program that will increase the overall performance of our sales team and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain sales training programs to include: continuous learning and reinforcement programs, onboarding, role based training, and career development for direct sales and/or account managers
  • Coordinate with sales leadership to align sales strategies, identify sales best practices, and drive sales effectiveness across the sales cycle
  • Reinforce a learning culture at all levels of the Sales Organization
  • Partner with product and marketing leads to develop product specific sales training programs including customer focused value messaging, competitor differentiators and certification
  • Apply project management skills across all aspects of sales training programs including alignment with business objectives, marketing and communications, planning and execution, and measurement
  • Partner with sales operations teams to implement sales tools aligned to various stages of the sales cycle
  • Provide 1/1 coaching to new hires and tenured sales professionals to supplement core sales training curriculum
  • Collaborate with sales leadership for ongoing training needs and feedback on existing programs.

 

Requirements

What You'll Need:

 

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ yrs. experience in live sales training, facilitation and coaching
  • 2-5 yrs. experience with demonstrated success in direct sales, account management or sales management role desired
  • Content development and instructional design experience
  •  2+ years of Salesforce.com experience
  • Position located in Reston, VA
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Excellent presentations skills
  • Ability to work in a team or individually to complete complex tasks  
  • Experience in sales techniques (i.e., Sandler, Challenger, Insight Selling, etc.) and methodologies, and sales enablement tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Effective and collaborative team player, motivated by a high performance global sales environment
  • Active learner committed to new practices and technologies to continually improve the participants learning experience
