About Us

The Spaulding Rehabilitation Network brings together world renowned clinicians, innovative researchers, and dedicated professionals with the common mission to pursue research that will offer new rehabilitation treatments to patients to dramatically improve their prognoses. Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston has been ranked as the #4 rehabilitation hospital in the country by U.S. News & World Report and is the only rehabilitation hospital in New England ranked each year since 1995. Combining extremely talented people with the best technologies, we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all ages; we conduct research that advances treatment; we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers; and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals. Our new research institute seeks to promote the translation of research findings and scientific knowledge into assessments and interventions that improve functional abilities and quality of life in those with a range of disabilities. The fellows will join a collaborative group of scientists who pursue research across a range of rehabilitation medicine disciplines: Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Musculoskeletal Injury, and Chronic Pain. These Harvard Medical School post-doctoral appointments will offer mentoring and educational commitments to foster continued development for the trainee to pursue research in these areas. Mentors can be chosen from among the core research faculty.
