About the Role

**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

The Role:

We are actively seeking quality driven highly qualified TRIOSS instructors to provide rigorous medical training in combat casualty care, medical education, and lifesaving skills to non-medical personnel, while effectively managing administrative requirements.

Location Requirements:

Location requirements are worldwide. Candidates may be required to travel or potentially relocate.

Instructor Selection Course:

The finalist of the interviewing process will be required to attend a 3-Day instructor selection course. This is a course where finalist will teach mock courses to current instructors as a way to demonstrate their teaching abilities and overall awesomeness. At the end of this course, candidates will be advised on their status in the application process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintain current professional certification/credential as an EMS Instructor
  • Provide curriculum oversight as appropriate for the program
  • Participate in all elements of course delivery
  • Represent Remote Medical International in a professional manner in accordance with the mission statement and strategic objective
  • Serve as an advocate for Remote Medical International in all compliance discussions with federal, state, and county agencies
  • Operate according to applicable business systems and regulations

Requirements

 

  • Instructors must comply with one or more of the following categories:
    • Holds a current NREMT at any level and either a former 68W (BNCOC Graduate) or 18D NCO (ANCOC Graduate)
    • Holds a current NREMT at any level and either a former NEC 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman E-6 or above
    • Holds a current NREMT at any level and a former Air Force 4NOX1, or an Independent Duty Medical Technician (4NOX1) E-6 or above
    • Currently licensed Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Physician
    • Combat medic or corpsman experience in one of the specialties above is preferred
  • Must maintain BLS-HCP certification and complete TC 8-800 (all tables) or the most current TC3 instructor course offered by the AMEDD

  • Must comply with BLS-HCP Instructor certification requirement

  • Documented experience providing patient care in remote or wilderness environments

  • Documented experience in adult education (experience teaching pre-hospital medicine preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Knowledgeable and capable of operating computer hardware and Windows software, and utilize PowerPoint for classroom presentations and Excel for reports.
